Who we are
MooTrip is an AI trip planner run by Arpo AI in Singapore. This policy explains what we collect when you use MooTrip at mootrip.arpoai.com, what we do with it, and your choices. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Questions, or requests about your data: zach@mail.arpoai.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign in with Google or an emailed code. From Google we receive only your email address.
- What you tell MooTrip: your trip requests and messages, spreadsheets you upload, and the plans made from them. These can include who's travelling (for example “2 adults and a baby”), dates, places and preferences. Please don't include anything you wouldn't want stored, such as passport numbers.
- Settings: your language, currency and display choices, kept in your browser.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and errors, collected by our hosting, analytics and error-reporting services to keep MooTrip running and fix problems.
How we use it
- To make, change and show your trip plans, and to let you come back to them.
- To sign you in and keep your trips tied to you.
- To keep MooTrip working, secure and free of abuse, and to improve it.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who it's shared with
MooTrip relies on these services, which receive only what they need to do their part:
- AI model providers, through OpenRouter: your trip request, messages and plan, to write and change it. Some providers may keep these, and some may use them to improve their models.
- Place and route services (Google, Wikipedia, Unsplash, Geoapify, OpenRouteService): place names and locations from your plan, for photos and drive times.
- Resend: your email address, to send sign-in codes.
- Hosting and storage (Vercel, Neon, Upstash), error reporting (Sentry) and analytics (Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies).
Some of these services are outside Singapore. We use providers that protect personal data to a standard comparable to the PDPA. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
Booking and partner links
Plans link to other sites, such as Booking.com, Airbnb, Google Maps and tour operators. When you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies. Some links are affiliate links: the site may tell us a booking came from MooTrip so we can earn a commission. It doesn't change your price, and we don't receive your payment details. MooTrip pages load a script from our affiliate network, Travelpayouts, which can see which pages you visit and which partner links you follow, so bookings can be credited to us.
Shared trips
If you share a trip, anyone with its link can see the plan. You can stop sharing at any time from the trip.
Cookies and browser storage
MooTrip uses a few cookies and browser storage only for things it needs: keeping you signed in, linking trips to your browser before you sign in, and remembering your language and display settings. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
- Trips, messages and plans: until you delete the trip, or ask us to delete your data.
- The contents of an uploaded spreadsheet: up to 30 days after you upload it (the plan made from it stays with your trip).
- Sign-in codes: a few minutes.
- Technical logs: as long as our hosting and error-reporting services keep them, usually days to weeks.
Your choices and rights
You can delete any trip in MooTrip. You can also ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it. You can withdraw your consent to us using your data at any time, though MooTrip can't make plans for you without it. Email zach@mail.arpoai.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
Children
MooTrip isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also tell you in MooTrip.
